In the vibrant music scene of Las Vegas, Nevada a new band emerges that promises to revolutionize the alternative rock genre: fieldfox. Made up of musicians who are no strangers to the Vegas Music Scene: Juncko Seb (Lowel), Angel Gomez (A Real King, The Family Mortuary), Gerry Trevino (A Real King, Kalani, TRVLRS, High Sierra Club, Solo) and Carlos Paguaga (Jacky Vincent, Kevin Rudolf) all aim to connect with those who continue to love all of that wonderful 2000’s pop punk music that so many of us grew up with, but with a modern and progressive twist with elements of metalcore and emo.
Each member of fieldfox. have all had significant reach in their own right including touring in the US, Japan & Mexico, played at venues such as Whisky a Go Go, (formally) ‘Vinyl’ at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino & The Space, and have also played along side bands such as Arch Echo, Spitalfield, Rest, Repose (Ryan "Fluff" Bruce/now Dragged Under), The Fine Constant (Sarah Longfield) & Strawberry Girls.
With musical influences ranging from blink-182, Yellowcard, Armor For Sleep and Four Year Strong, their first single “Restart”, released on June 19, 2024, is an anthem for second chances, describing the excitement of returning to making music again. The song is a reflection of the band’s togetherness and their desire to overcome obstacles and previous hardships. “Restart” was followed up by “Arrowhead” on August 16, 2024 and their next single “Brooklyn” is expected to drop in October of this year.
